My dear brother,

I don't even know how it would be better for us to tell you: has another year passed or is a new year beginning?

Paradoxically, for the past year, the History of Romanian Freemasonry records two contradictory events: a great success for each of us by taking over the presidency of the World Conference of the Supreme Councils of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite for the next five years and a belated moral reparation, by the scandalous expulsion of Radu Bălănescu from Matei Elina Voevod by his own "comrades". Those who supported his lie should be ashamed. I have an advice for them and for their "subcontractors": keep your lie until beyond this end, do not waste it on those who have called you "brothers" for so many years.

It has also been proven that absolutely none of the conflicts of the last five years have Masonic motivations. They were all generated by the desire of the imitators of Freemasonry to "take the shortcut" to the quick fulfillment of the conceit of dubious aggrandizement, of false affirmation, of imagined power. Those who first entered Freemasonry and then asked "what is going on here?" have kind of gotten off the wagon. Let's move forward...

Someone asked me what the Scottish Rite in Romania, the regular and recognized one, ours, should do, so that even the least prepared, not only Masonically but also intellectually, understand that we are not on the wrong side of the road? Let's move forward, but not anyway, but without them. It doesn't scare me that there is still a long way to go, as much as it saddens me that sometimes it seems like there is still a long way to go...

The year begins in which we will deal more with the internal Masonic life of the Scottish Rite. Will we continue in the coming year on the assumed and proven path of defending the principles of the Scottish Rite in Romania? Yes. Will we continue on the path of restoring peace and harmony in Romanian Freemasonry, within the limits allowed by our Statute? Yes.

My dear Brother, I know you know that we will do this.
For this reason, let's be healthy, so that we can also be happy!
May our enemies live too, so that they can see us happy!
