The Supreme Council of the Romanian RSAA supports and promotes a new editorial. This time, the historian Daniel Hrenciuc under the title "Freemasonry during communism, Secret documents from the Securitate archives”Capitalizes on a group of documents representative of the evolution of Romanian Freemasonry in the first decades of communism, developing those moments that substantiated the repressions directed against Freemasons. These documents, found in ACNSAS funds, were designed, drafted and used by the Securitate to train its own specialists in the so-called Freemasonry Problem, and until recently were not accessible to researchers in the field.
The constant maintenance of clichés and stereotypes related to the hidden, terrifying aspects of the life and activity of Freemasonry broadcast in public through various means has constantly reshaped the public's interest in this subject. This paper, conceived and written according to scientific norms, in full respect of the truth, we hope will represent an authentic and necessary recovery approach for the knowledge of an important chapter of Romanian history.
