The Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Romania is concerned with promoting our defining symbols as Romanian Masons, followers of a universal creed, but with their own identity and history. In this sense, the decision to make the music to welcome the national flag was promoted tricolor by Ciprian Porumbescu, in the original version.
At each entrance of the flag the first and last two stanzas will be sung:
I know three colors in the world
What do they care about a scent?
These are old-fashioned colors
Souvenirs of a brave people.
Up in the sky and in the world
These will be three colors,
We will have a towering name
And a towering future.
And when, brothers, you take me
I'm going to kill you
Put me on the grave, then
Our proud tricolor.
