The Feast of the Rite was held in Istanbul on October 10-13, an event organized by the Supreme Council for Turkey of the 33rd and Last Degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Members of the rite from the host country as well as delegates of the Supreme Councils from other jurisdictions of the world were present. Romania had a notable presence, as happened at most events of this type lately.
The celebration included a ritualization session of the 32nd degree, an outfit open to brothers from 4° to 33°, a dinner at the headquarters of the Rite and a sumptuous Gala Dinner.
In the moment dedicated to foreign delegations, the Sovereign Grand Commander, Il & PP Stelian Nistor 33, GC praised the more than cordial ties between the two Supreme Councils, of Romania and Turkey, ties proven in difficult times. He congratulated the hosts for the exemplary organization of the event, and all the brothers present for their dedication. He ended his speech with a message to all the friendly Supreme Councils, in an expression of joy at the prospect of seeing each other again, soon, in Bucharest.
