Supremul Consiliu de Grad 33 și Ultim - Ritul Scoțian Antic și Acceptat din România

Supreme Council of the 33rd and Last Degree

of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Romania

Consecration of the Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in the Principality of Andorra

A delegation of the Supreme Council of the RSAA in Romania participated on Saturday, July 20, 2019, in the consecration of the newest Supreme Council in Europe of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, in the Principality of Andorra.

The Principality of Andorra is a "small" country only in terms of geographical area, having long played a large but extremely discreet role in the financial mechanisms of Western Europe. Andorra has thus reached the top 12 countries in the world in terms of living standards. It has been ruled since 1278 by a co-principality between Spain and France, the Bishop of Urgell and the President of France, currently Emmanuel Macron.

In the presence of the delegations of the Supreme Councils of the USA, England, Germany, France, Switzerland, Romania, Luxembourg, Greece, Monaco, Croatia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Benin, Ivory Coast, it was finalized, despite political pressures and obstacles ( most of the inhabitants of the Principality of Andorra are Catalans) a desideratum of the Freemasonry of Andorra for which they have been working for over 20 years.

The Scottish Rite in Romania was recognized as an active part in a delicate, concrete and complex Masonic diplomacy action, which achieved another moment of discreet historical resonance with subtle implications for the future of Europe and the role of Freemasonry in the world.

Parinti Fondatori Andorra

The Scottish Rite in Romania was proposed and became, for history, the "Founding Father" co-consecrator of this Supreme Council.

The signature of the Sovereign Grand Commander of Romania will remain on the Charter of the new Supreme Council together with the signatures of the Sovereign Grand Commanders of the Supreme Councils of Germany, France, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

The Scottish Rite in Romania has for the third time in the last three years the prestigious recognition of Universal Freemasonry by proposing the historic position of consecrating "Founding Father" of a Supreme Council, after consecrating the Supreme Councils of Azerbaijan and the Principality of Monaco.
