My dear brother,
Whatever I wish you for the New Year, it would be too little compared to what you really deserve.
You are receiving this message because you have proven in the past year that you know how to assume the quality and dignity of a Master Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite.
We have to prepare in the coming year the World Conference of the Supreme Councils of the RSAA, which will be held for the first time in Romania, on 8-9-10 May 2025. It is a gift that the 143-year history of the Scottish Rite in Romania chose to give it to us, the current members. It is a gift for which each of us toiled and even fought, according to our powers and level of commitment. Each of us will have something to tell or about each of us there will be something to tell the future after this unique event.
To be unanimously elected to the leadership of the World Conference of Supreme Councils, for a five-year term beginning in 2025, is the most complete international recognition of the value that the Scottish Rite in a country can have. It is said that this recognition should also be seen as a checkmate given to the imitators of freemasonry here.
My dear Brother, under the unique patronage of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite from Romania, the Order of De Molay Romania took this year, for the first time in history, world first place in the International De Molay.
At the Odeon on October 14, we were honored by 72 foreign delegates from 41 countries. Do you know in Romania in 2023 another manifestation, Masonic or profane, with such a proof of international respect?
Here, then, we are doing well everywhere at the "world events", there would still be something to do at the "local events", here and there, "through the essential parts", but for this God gave us the year 2024!
So, my dear Brother, whatever I wish you for the New Year, I think it would be too little for what you really deserve...
We are going forward? Yes, right before, that we have what for!
