Supremul Consiliu de Grad 33 și Ultim - Ritul Scoțian Antic și Acceptat din România

The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite appears in Romania, in 1881, under the leadership of the Sovereign Grand Commander, Constantin Moroiu 33, just one year after the appearance of the Romanian Grand National Lodge, in 1880.

On December 27, 1922, the Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Romania, under the leadership of Sovereign Grand Commander Jean Pangal 33, received the recognition of the Supreme Council of France, shortly thereafter in 1925, receiving the recognition of the Supreme Council (Mother) of World, Southern Jurisdiction in the United States.

Between 1948 and 1989, the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Romania, along with all of Romanian Freemasonry, was banned by the communist regime.

On October 19, 1993, in Washington, the 33rd and Last Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Romania is reconsecrated by the Supreme Mother Council of the World.

Today, the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Romania is recognized by most of the Supreme Councils in the world and is led by His Almighty and Illustrious Brother, Stelian Nistor 33.
