A delegation of the Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite from Romania, as Sole Protector of the Organization DeMolay Romania, <\/strong>participated in the National Session of this youth organization.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by officials DeMolay International, <\/strong>as well as special guests from Lebanon, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria.<\/p>\n

DeMolay International Delegation \u00a0<\/strong>was formed from Ron Minshall<\/strong> \u2013 Grand Secretary of DeMolay International (elected in 2025), past Grand Master and past Executive Officer \u2013 Oklahoma DeMolay and Paulette "Mom" Minshall<\/strong>; Gregory A. Chiles<\/strong> \u2013 Grand Treasurer of DeMolay International (elected in 2021), former Grand Master (2012\u20132013) and Dawn Chiles<\/strong>; Terry L. Peters<\/strong> \u2013 Past Grand Master of DeMolay International and also Grand Senior Councilor and Evonne \u201cMom\u201d Peters<\/strong> \u2013 Grand Senior Councilor; Thomas Goodwin<\/strong> \u2013 International Master Councilor (59th) of DeMolay International; Tammie D\u2019Aguanno.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The gathering was special, bringing together DeMolay youth, parents, supporters, and community members in a fraternal and enthusiastic atmosphere. The centerpiece was the full DeMolay Degree Ceremony according to the DeMolay International ritual, conducted in English, through which new youth officially became members of the organization, choosing to embrace the cardinal DeMolay virtues: Family, Faith, Respect, Fraternity, Loyalty, Patriotism and Honesty.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The skit, performed entirely in English, presented by the young DeMolays, most of whom are members of the Bucharest Chapter, was particularly appreciated and applauded.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Romania, PP&IL Fr Stelian Nistor<\/strong> , 33\u00b0 GC, President of the World Conference of Supreme Councils of the RSAA, delivered a message that received a standing ovation from the audience:<\/p>\n

I address you, our younger Brothers: we are proud of you!<\/em><\/p>\n

The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite discreetly accompanies you on your path to performance.<\/em><\/p>\n

I returned yesterday from the USA where I spoke with the Grand Master of the International Order of De Molay, Illustrious Brother John Sellars, and agreed on joint actions with Brother Bogdan Matache of the Scottish Rite as the sole Protector of De Molay Romania.<\/em><\/p>\n

To begin with, the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite has decided to offer you, at its own expense, a package of public speaking courses with valuable teachers, including the former Minister of Culture and former Grand Master of the National Grand Lodge, George Iva\u0219cu.<\/em><\/p>\n

We also invited and accepted a Brother of yours who won awards in debate\/dialogue\/communication competitions, a brilliant student in his final year of high school, future student at the famous "Bocconi" University in Milan, Iannis Mergeani.<\/em><\/p>\n

I wish you success in your work today and always, and I am convinced that among you are the future members of the Supreme Council and the future Sovereign Grand Commander. <\/em><\/p>\n

Are we moving forward? Yes. We're moving forward!<\/em><\/p>\n
